EMU 校友 are eligible 为 a courtesy library card.

University faculty from public colleges and universities in Michigan

University faculty from public colleges and universities in Michigan, with current faculty ID.

University of Michigan Students

University of Michigan and Eastern Michigan University students, faculty and staff are eligible 为 guest borrowing privileges at the other institution. U-M students and staff must first request an EMU card through the U-M library. 给 EMU Library Card Request Form to the Circulation Desk at the U-M Hatcher Graduate Library or the U-M Flint Thompson Library.
You will be notified by email when your guest borrower's card can be picked up from the 哈莉·库 Circulation Desk. Bring a picture ID with you.

Ypsilanti居民

City of Ypsilanti居民 are eligible 为 a courtesy library card. You must submit a current driver's license or state ID with an Ypsilanti address with your application.

Individuals who do not fit into any of these categories can purchase a Friends card 为 $25 per calendar year. You may pay when you pick up your card. Payment must be by credit card.

Current EMU students, faculty, and staff already have a library account. To get an EagleOne Card or employee ID, please contact 服务经济与货币联盟 in the Student Center.

Loan Periods and Limits

游客:

• Check out 5 items at a time
• Check books out 为 21 days
• Renew their loan once (renewals are automated)
• Check out Videos, DVDS, CDs, and audiocassettes 为 3 hours

• Check out journals, reference books, or any material on reserve
• Make 馆际互借 or MeLCat requests through the Library
• Access the Library’s electronic resources from off-campus
• Request materials to be digitized

借款 Privileges and Requirements

• Courtesy cards must be picked up in person.
• Applicants must be 18 years of age, and must have a valid driver's license or state ID card when applying 为 the card.
• Courtesy borrowers must present their EMU courtesy card and a picture ID (either a valid state ID or a driver's license) when checking out materials.
• 借款 privileges 为 courtesy card holders are valid until the end of the current semester. Exception: Purchased cards are valid 为 one calendar year.
• We will email your account in为mation within 72 hours of submitting the 为m and let you know when you can pick up your card.
• Overdue books accrue fines at a rate of $0.25个/天. If a book is not returned to the library within 40 days of the due date, it will be considered lost and a replacement fee of $99, plus a $20 processing fee and a $10 lost book fine) will be charged.

Access to Online Library Resources 为 校友 and 游客

• The library's subscription online resources are not available to alumni from off-campus. Vendor contracts limit off-campus access to currently registered EMU students, faculty and staff.
• 梅尔.org provides access to selected research databases to all Michigan residents.
• JSTOR注册 & 读 service provides limited free access to articles.
• Many of the library's 研究指南 include selected free online resources. A few guides have research recommendations 为 alumni:

MeLCat Visiting Patron 

游客 from libraries that participate in MeLCat Visiting Patron may check out materials by presenting a currently valid library card from the participating library and a picture ID. If your library does not participate in Visiting Patron, we recommend you use MeLCat from your library to obtain the item.
